Local Chromium
Domain: MCP & Integrations
Motivation
Using a local Chrome/Chromium browser for Hermes browser automation. No cloud service needed.
Concrete Example
Local Chromium: Hermes opens Chrome on your machine, navigates, and interacts. No external service. Free. Uses your computer resources.
Analogy
Owning a car vs taking a taxi - local Chromium is your own car. No fare, but you maintain it. Browserbase is a taxi - you pay per ride but no maintenance.
