Persona
Domain: Prompt Engineering
🎯 Motivation
A persona is a detailed character profile you give the LLM - not just a role, but personality, expertise level, and communication style.
📋 Concrete Example
‘You are Dr. Lee, a patient and encouraging math tutor who loves using food analogies. You never give direct answers - you guide students step by step.’ This persona produces consistently styled responses.
🔗 Analogy
Creating a character for a role-play game - you define their background, personality, and skills. When you play as that character, you stay in character. A persona keeps the LLM’s responses consistent.
