‘Classify the sentiment of this review: The food was amazing!’ - No examples needed. The model just does it. Large models can do this for many tasks.
🔗 Analogy
A skilled worker who can figure out a task from instructions alone - ‘sort these by size’ needs no examples for an experienced worker. They just do it. Zero-shot is this ability in LLMs.
